My name is Rose Wolff. I am a mother, poet, storyteller, and shamanic practitioner. I live with my husband and children in Burgundy, France, where we are nurturing and building our dream, La Ferme du Cerf Bleu—a permaculture farm devoted to medicinal plants, trees, pollinator gardens, bee therapy houses, sacred groves and animals. Here we offer farm-to-table meals, ecological farming education, and retreats for writing, healing, and deep listening—a place for creativity, connection, and renewal.

I was raised in the cypress swamps and tidal marshes of South Florida, where my three sisters and I spent our days collecting palm fruits for potions, fostering lizards, and rescuing baby turtles washed ashore by storms. Magic has always been my compass, guiding me from those childhood landscapes to the forested mountains of New York—where I founded Oak Rose Forest School and The Wizard School—and now to the golden fields of France, where I root my life in reciprocity with the land.

Along the way, I’ve studied and practiced many paths of wisdom and healing. I am a practitioner of Northern European shamanism, working with the runes, ogham, dreams, myth, herbs, and ceremony. I am also a licensed Rapid Transformational Therapy hypnotist, an advanced Crystal Dreaming practitioner, and a lifelong student of myth and animism. I hold an MFA in poetry and an MA in education, and for over a decade I worked closely with children, weaving story and nature into their learning, and nourishing imagination.

Today, my focus is on listening—to the land, to my children, to the stories that want to be told, and to the quiet wisdom within each person I work with. I don’t claim to have the answers. Instead, I offer myself as a mirror, a midwife, and a witness.

Through myth, writing, and shamanic practice, I help others return to their own truth, their voice, and the medicine that only they can bring into the world.

I believe that when we live in alignment with our authenticity, creativity, connection and devotion to the natural world and our ancestors, we not only heal ourselves but also nourish the greater web of life to which we belong.
